Commonly found in early Taiwan, it is made by adding roasted cassia seeds to black tea for flavor. Because the flavor of roasted cassia seeds is somewhat similar to coffee, it is also commonly known as coffee black tea.
Brewing Instructions
Recommended brewing time: Brew for 20 minutes
Recommended brewing temperature: 100°C hot water
Recommended brewing ratio: 1:50 (tea leaves in grams: water in milliliters)
Creative Usage
Coffee Black Tea
- Mix 200cc of coffee black tea with 30cc of fructose in a shaker cup.
- Add ice until the cup is full, shake well, then serve in a drinking cup.
Coffee Black Tea Latte
- Mix 200cc of coffee black tea with 100cc of fresh milk in a shaker cup.
- Add ice until the cup is full, shake well, then serve in a drinking cup.
Bubble Milk Tea
- Place 150g of cooked tapioca pearls at the bottom of a drinking cup.
- Mix 200cc of coffee black tea, 30g of rich creamer, and 15cc of fructose in a shaker cup.
- Add ice until the cup is full, shake well, then serve in a drinking cup.
Coffee Black Tea Panna Cotta
- Mix 500cc of coffee black tea with 100g of panna cotta powder in a pot, bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat, pour into a mold, and let it sit until solidified.
