Black tea refers to high-quality Ceylon black tea. Due to the widespread reputation of Ceylon tea, Sri Lanka government continues to promote Ceylon tea, making it one of the world’s three major black tea-producing regions.
Brewing Instructions
Recommended brewing time: Brew for 20 minutes
Recommended brewing temperature: 100°C hot water
Recommended brewing ratio: 1:50 (tea leaves in grams: water in milliliters)
Creative Usage
Black Tea
- Mix 200cc of black tea with 30cc of fructose in a shaker cup.
- Add ice until the cup is full, shake well, then serve in a drinking cup.
Black Tea Latte
- Mix 200cc of black tea with 100cc of fresh milk in a shaker cup.
- Add ice until the cup is full, shake well, then serve in a drinking cup.
Black Milk Tea
- Place 150g of cooked tapioca pearls at the bottom of a drinking cup.
- Mix 200cc of black tea, 30g of rich creamer, and 15cc of fructose in a shaker cup.
- Add ice until the cup is full, shake well, then serve in a drinking cup.
Black Tea Panna Cotta
- Mix 500cc of black tea with 100g of panna cotta powder in a pot, bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat, pour into a mold, and let it sit until solidified.
